An Arrest Is Not a Conviction

Verify the current disposition with the Superior Court, Sheriff’s Records Bureau, or California Department of Justice, as appropriate.
Treat every record you find as a starting point, not a verdict. Only the originating agency can confirm what a record currently says and whether it is still releasable.
